Server Troubleshooting and Optimization

If you have ever wrestled with a sick Coldfusion server and mined the web for answers you have probably stumbled accross one of many posts on Coldfusion Muse on the topic of server optimization and troubleshooting. The Coldfusion Muse is Mark Kruger, the owner of CF Webtools. CF Webtools has a high reputation for solving intractible problems with web and database servers. We are often contracted on an emergency basis by large companies who cannot solve a problem "in house". If you have such a situation you can contact CF Webtools by emailing sales@cfwebtools.com or calling 402 408 3733.

How Does It Work?

If you call CFWT and need help with a sick server you will be asked to enter into a block hours agreement covering the time expected to spend on the project. The number of hours you will be asked to purchase greatly depends on the complexity of your system and the amount of work expected but generally a minimum of at least 10 hours is required to engage CF Webtools.

The rate depends on the level of staff available, but typically troubleshooting and emergency optimization garners our highest rate because we have to juggle our staff schedule to accommodate the work. It also depends on who you need to look at your server. If Internet Mark Kruger, Guy Rish or Mike Klostermeyer are required then you pay an "executive" rate. If however, the work can be done by assigning it to the regular staff you pay the staff rate.
