CF Webtools invoices all of our site hosting customers on an annual basis. You can expect a bill for the first year of hosting at site launch.

To move an existing site into a CMS requires that your site be migrated into CMS templates. These templates are versions of your HTML pages that are merged with dynamic content at run-time. The creation of these templates involves:

• Slicing them into component parts like "content" or "navigation" or "subnavigation"
• Adding behaviors for navigation or other "widgets" that exist on your site.
• Adding your content into the "site tree" - tree like visualization that represents all the pages on your site.

This process can take as little as a day or as long as a week depending on the complexity of your site. If you are a developer or you already have a developer working with your site, CF Webtools will be happy to get you up to speed on this process. Before considering hosting with CF Webtools you should know that we keep tight controls on the Coldfusion and ASP.NET code that goes onto our servers. We prefer to work directly with your developer to get you up and running. If you do not have a developer consider using CF Webtools as your primary development provider.
